Shipwreck Beach Tour + Bus
€45 per person
Shipwreck Beach tours are definitely our most popular ones. Unlike our regular boat tours to Shipwreck Beach, this excursion includes a roundtrip bus ride from Kalamaki, Laganas and Agios Sostis to the tour’s departure port, providing the ideal solution to those who don’t have a rental vehicle to independently reach the port.
The bus transfer takes about an hour to reach the departure port for our Shipwreck Beach tour. The excursion includes the same stops as our daily boat tour to Shipwreck Beach, meaning 3 swim stops (White Beach, western Blue Caves, Porto Stenitis) and 2 photo stops (Shipwreck Beach + Poseidon’s Face). The boat can accommodate up to 50 people. Its smaller size will not only allow you to enter inside the western Blue Caves, but also enjoy closeup views of the most beautiful coves on Zakynthos’ northwestern coast, all places of extraordinary beauty. Our boats take 15 minutes to reach the cove where Shipwreck Beach is located. You will be immediately struck by the electric blue color of the sea, due to the numerous sulfurous caves that surround the beach and that release large quantities of sulfur as the tide rises, providing the perfect opportunity for spectacular souvenir photos. After a photo stop in the most photographed cove in all of Greece (in compliance with a law enacted in 2023), we’ll head to White Beach for our first 20-25 minute swim stop. We’ll take our next swim stop at the western Blue Caves and then we’ll head towards Porto Stenitis (or another cove, based on weather conditions and the number of boats present in the area) for our third and last swim stop. Before returning to the port, we’ll stop one more time to take souvenir photos of Poseidon’s Face.
At the end of the tour, the bus will take you back to Laganas, Agios Sostis or Kalamaki.
Summary of the stops included in our Shipwreck Beach tour:
- 2 Photo stops (Shipwreck Beach + Poseidon’s Face).
- 3 soste bagno (White Beach + western Blue Caves + Stenitis).
This tour works well for those who don’t have a car, a 125cc scooter or a quad to independently reach the departure port. If in addition to Shipwreck Beach, you would like a tour that includes visits to the main attractions in Zakynthos with pickup directly at your accommodation, we recommend booking our Boat Excursion & Minivan Tour.
Finally, if you are looking for greater privacy and comfort or would like to enjoy a unique experience with family or friends, we recommend renting a rent a boat that doen’t require a boating license or a boat with skipper.
N.B. 1. In case of bad weather or for any health reasons, you can reschedule the date or time of the excursion at no additional cost.
N.B. 2. If you don’t have a reservation, (prior to going to the bus stop) we recommend that you contact us to verify availability and sea conditions.
N.B. 3. In order to ensure the safety of passengers and swimmers, the stops and the order in which we schedule them may be modified based on sea conditions and the captain’s assessment.
