Shipwreck Beach Excursion with Land-Rover Jeep

€60 per person

OurJeep Safari to Shipwreck Beach is a fantastic excursion where you will discover unforgettable landscapes, wild vegetation and traditional villages. After the scenic drive to San Nikolaos port, we will board the boat to Shipwreck Beach, where you will have the chance to enjoy a swim, and to the Blue Caves, where we’ll make an additional swim stop.

Program:

Departure at 8:30 / 9:00 (the driver will pick you up directly at your hotel/residence).

After a one and half hour drive through traditional villages and beautiful countryside, we will arrive at the San Nikolaos Port, where we will board the boat to Shipwreck Beach (boat included in the price).

10:30 am We will depart for Shipwreck Beach. The boat will dock directly on the sand, giving you easy access to the beach: 30 minutes of swimming and relaxation. Next stop: Blue Caves, where we will stop for another 20 minutes of swimming.

1:00 pm We will get back on the Jeep and drive to Shipwreck viewpoint, where thousands of photos are taken every day. Photo Stop: 30 minutes.

2.00 pm After a half hour drive, we will arrive at Stenitis Beach. The water has the color of a swimming pool and given the rather inacessible road, the beach is never very crowded. Stop for 30 minutes of swimming and relaxation.

3.00 pm We will arrive at the village of Kampi, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a breathtaking view of the western side of the island while having lunch in a traditional tavern overlooking the cliffs. Lunch stop: 1 hour.

4.30 pm We will visit the Aristeon oil press, where you will have the opportunity to taste free sample of locally produced Extra-virgin olive oil. Stop: 15 minutes.

Return at 5.00 pm.

What is there to know about Shipwreck Beach?

Also known as Navagio, Shipwreck Beach offers unique scenery and is in fact the most popular excursion in Zakynthos. The beach is enclosed between high rock formations and the thing that immediately catches the eye is certainly the color of the sea. Often the water in fact takes on an electric blue color due to the numerous sulfurous caves that surround the area and release large amounts of sulfur when the sea rises, offering the perfect opportunity for spectaculars souvenir photos. Shipwreck Beach is accessible only by sea. This excursion is ideal for those who want to visit the Zakynthos countryside, Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves and, at the same time, are looking for a less touristy experience. If, on the other hand, you are only interested in the boat portion of the tour, we recommend that you book the Shipwreck Beach Tour (Norther cost tour or Western cost tour) or rent a boat that doesn’t require a boating licence or rent a boat with a captain.

Excursion information: Shipwreck Beach, Blue Caves, Stenitis Beach and viewpoints.

This excursion will give you the opportunity to swim at  Shipwreck Beach, the most famous attraction on the island, with 2 additional swim stops at some of the most scenic and remote beaches in Zakynthos.

In the event of adverse weather conditions, the program may be subject to changes. You will visit breathtaking landscapes and experience a truly unique adventure.
