The excursions to the Zakynthos National Marine Park are definitely our most popular ones. The park (in Greek: Εθνικό Θαλάσσιο Πάρκο Ζακύνθου), was established on December 22, 1999 as the first national marine park in Greece. It covers an area of 135 Km² and is home to Loggerhead (Caretta Caretta) turtles.
All our tours are designed for you to fully enjoy the beauty of this protected area, while watching turtles swim in their natural habitat, all in compliance with WWF regulations. With our excursions, you will also have the opportunity to visit several sites in the Marine Park, including Marathonisi Island and Keri Caves, two unique snorkeling sites, the Mizithres Sea Stacks, famous for their idyllic waters and Eros Cave and Pisines Cove, the two most Instagrammed destinations in the Marine Park.
Boat Excursions
Our Marine Park excursions use boats of different sizes. To visit Marathonisi Island and Keri Caves, we use a 9 to 34 passenger boat, ideal for couples, families and friends looking for a relaxing tour, whereas to visit the Mizithres Sea Stacks we use a 45 passenger boat, perfect to reach these uniquely-shaped rocks rising from turquoise and blue waters, at the edge of the protected area. Lastly, for our excursion to Eros Cave and Pisines Cove, we use an 11 passenger boat, ideal for an up-close visit to these breathtaking locations. Boat Rental
If you prefer to have more freedom and spend a few hours in the pristine waters of the Marine Park or if you’d like to enjoy a unique experience with family and friends, you can rent a boat that doesn’t require a boating license, for your exclusive use or rent a private boat with skipper to visit less known coves and caves with an exceptionally knowledgeable captain guiding the tour.
