Bochali est une petite village de 900 \u00e2mes situ\u00e9e sur la colline derri\u00e8re la ville de Zakynthos. Pendant l’occupation v\u00e9nitienne, ainsi que dans les ann\u00e9es suivantes, c’\u00e9tait le quartier aristocratique de la ville et de l’\u00eele. Aujourd’hui Il conserve encore des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de cette p\u00e9riode. De Bochali, vous pourrez admirer le panorama de la ville de Zakynthos<\/strong> et de la mer Ionienne. A quelques centaines de m\u00e8tres de la ville, sur la partie la plus haute, se trouve des ruines de ch\u00e2teau construit vers 1646.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En partant de la Place Saint Marc (voici les coordonn\u00e9es Google https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/dv5ZBd546qipkqtZ7<\/span><\/span><\/a>), la ville de Bochali est accessible \u00e0 pied en 20 minutes environ par un magnifique chemin panoramique en mont\u00e9e qui part de l’\u00e9glise de Panagia et Pikridiotissa traverse quelques maisons anciennes pour la premi\u00e8re partie et une pin\u00e8de pour la suivante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se rendre \u00e0 Bochali depuis la ville de Zakynthos peut \u00eatre d\u00e9licat si vous placez votre navigateur dans une petite rue. Il est recommand\u00e9 de visiter Bochali en deux moments, le matin, lorsque le soleil rehausse les couleurs de la mer et qu’il est possible de visiter le ch\u00e2teau et les rues int\u00e9rieures, et le soir, lorsque le ciel devient rose et les lumi\u00e8res de la ville. Le clocher de l’\u00e9glise de Panagia Chrysopigi<\/strong> est isol\u00e9 sur la place Bochali. \u00c0 l’int\u00e9rieur de l’\u00e9glise domine l’iconostase dor\u00e9e en bois sculpt\u00e9, l’ic\u00f4ne de la Vierge \u00e0 l’enfant apport\u00e9e ici d’Istanbul et diverses ic\u00f4nes byzantines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au sommet de la colline se trouve une forteresse, <\/strong>\u00e9galement connue sous le nom de ch\u00e2teau v\u00e9nitien ou ch\u00e2teau de Bochali<\/strong>. La construction fut achev\u00e9e par les V\u00e9nitiens en 1646 mais fut continuellement endommag\u00e9e par les nombreux tremblements de terre qui se succ\u00e9d\u00e8rent au fil des ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L’histoire de l’\u00e9glise post-byzantine d’Agia Paraskevi<\/strong> dans le village de Bohali qui c\u00e9l\u00e8bre la m\u00e9moire d’Agia Paraskevi, patronne des Tch\u00e8ques, est perdue dans le temps et sa construction a \u00e9t\u00e9 sauv\u00e9e du tremblement de terre catastrophique de 1953.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
