The excursions to the Zakynthos National Marine Park are definitely our most popular ones.
The Zakynthos Marine Park (Greek: Εθνικό Θαλάσσιο Πάρκο Ζακύνθου), was established on 22 December 1999 as the first national marine park in Greece. It covers an area of 135 Km² and is home to Loggerhead (Caretta Caretta) turtles.
The only way to explore the area is by renting a boat or booking an excursion. All our tours are designed to help you enjoy the beauty of this protected area and watch turtles swim in their natural habitat, all in compliance with WWF regulations. During our excursions, you will also have the opportunity to swim in the crystal clear waters of Marathonisi Island and Keri Caves, two unique snorkeling sites, or in the idyllic waters of the Mizithres sea stacks.
For our excursions to the Marine Park, we use two different boats. To visit Marathonisi Island and Keri Caves, we use a 24-seater catamaran, perfect for couples, families and friends looking for a relaxing tour, whereas to visit the Mizithres Sea Stacks we use a 34-seater boat, perfect for reaching our newest destination located at the edge of the protected area. If you prefer to have more freedom to spend a few hours in the pristine waters of the Marine Park and decide where to stop for a swim, you can either rent a boat that doesn’t require a boating licence for your own exclusive use or rent a private boat with captain for greater comfort.

To book an excursion to the Zakynthos Marine Park, you’ll need to fill out the Book Now form, specifying the type of boat, date and time. In high season, we might require a bank transfer as down payment to book seats on board or to reserve a private boat. Tickets will be picked up at our office at the departure port.
