Shipwreck Beach is defined by many as the most beautiful beach in the whole island of Zakynthos and some even venture to say that it is the most beautiful beach in all of Greece.
Also known as Navagio, this beach is enclosed in a small cove and can only be reached by sea. In this part of Zakynthos, the sea takes on an electric blue color due to the numerous sulfurous caves that surround the beach and release large quantities of sulfur when the sea rises, offering the perfect opportunity for spectacular souvenir photos.
All our excursions to Shipwreck Beach use only small boats, that can cruise along the coast for a breathtaking view of the most beautiful coves in the area, and also enter inside the caves (unlike the larger boats). It will also allow you to get on and off the boat quickly without having to wait for hundreds of people to do the same. Both the northern coast tour and the western coast tour do not offer a transfer service and you will have to reach the departure ports on your own (booking at the last minute is not recommended: write us on WhatsApp to check availability). If you are looking for a tour to Shipwreck Beach with transfer service, we recommend that you book the Minivan Tour with free pick-up directly from your hotel/residence.
If, on the other hand, you are looking for greater comfort and privacy, you can rent a boat that doen’s require a boating license or you can rent a boat with captain: the price is within everyone’s reach!

To book an excursion to Shipwreck Beach or to rent a boat, fill out the form in the Book Now section, specifying the type of boat, the date and the time. In high season, we might require a bank transfer to book seats on board or to reserve a private boat. The excursion ticket will be picked up at our office in Laganas or at the departure port in Porto Vromi or San Nikolaos. In case of bad weather, we will reschedule the date or refund you the money.
