Our Boat Tour to Shipwreck Beach with Minivan Tour is ideal for those who, in addition to the standard boat excursion to Shipwreck Beach, want an organized tour to visit the main attractions on Zakynthos, both by sea and on land. This tour provides you with direct pickup at your accommodation and includes tickets for the boat excursion to Shipwreck Beach. To ensure a pleasant tour, we provide a fully air conditioned 9 to 23 seater minivan, driven by an expert driver.
Excursion details.
Upon being picked up at your accommodation, the first tour stop will be at the panoramic viewpoint on Bochali Hill, located behind the town of Zakynthos, from where you can enjoy wonderful views of the city below. The tour will continue to the scenic spot overlooking Shipwreck Beach, where thousands of photos of the most famous cove in all of Greece are taken daily. After taking pictures of the iconic cove from above, we’ll head to Porto Vromi to board the boat for Shipwreck Beach, which will also take us to explore Zakynthos’ massive rocky coast and its famous Blue Caves after our scheduled stop at Shipwreck Beach, where we’ll stop at a safety distance to take beautiful souvenir photos from the boat (a 2023 ban prohibits deboarding the boat). The next scheduled stop will be at White Beach, where you’ll be able to swim in clear blue waters and relax on a beach of white pebbles and sand. During the next swim stop you’ll have the opportunity to swim inside one of the western Blue Caves. Finally, before returning to the port, we’ll stop one more time to take souvenir photos of Poseidon’s Face, another attraction on Zakynthos’ west coast. After the boat tour, we’ll get back on the minivan and head to a traditional tavern for a brief lunch break (the price of lunch is not included). The last stop of this exciting and fun tour is at Xigia Beach, where you’ll be able to relax on the sulfurous beach or take one last dip. If there are no delays or if we are ahead of schedule, we may include an additional photo stop at the village of Exo Chora (optional stop).
At the end of this 9-hour tour, the driver will take you back to your accomodation.
The tour lasts approximately 9 hours and costs €65 per person (including the boat excursion).
Our Minivan Tour, which includes the Boat Tour to Shipwreck Beach, works well for those who don’t have a rental vehicle to move around the island or who will only be renting a 50cc scooter, since the smaller engine would make travelling around the northwestern part of the island, with its many steep climbs, basically impossible.
If you are renting a car, quad or scooter with a minimum a 125cc engine, we recommend booking our boat excursion to Shipwreck Beach or, if you are looking for greater privacy and comfort or would simply like to enjoy a unique experience with family or friends, we recommend renting a boat that doesn’t require a boating license or a boat with skipper.
N.B. 1. In case of bad weather or for any health reasons (within 24 hours from the tour), you can reschedule the date or time of the excursion at no additional cost.
N.B. 2. In order to ensure the safety of passengers and swimmers, the stop and the order in which we schedule them may be modified based on sea conditions and the captain’s assessment.
