Ammoudi is located in the North-Eastern part of Zakynthos near Alykes and Alykanas, about 13 km from Zakynthos town. It is a small town with basic services, ideal for relaxing holidays, perfect for families or couples who wish to spend their holidays in Zakynthos in a quiet and uncrowded place.

The small beach of Ammoudi is 100 meters long and approximately 5 meters wide and is a combination of pebbles and sand. The seabed is shallow and slopes slowly, making it suitable even for small children. There are no umbrellas and deckchairs due to the narrow width of the beach, which is almost non-existent. The two restaurants in Ammoudi overlooking the sea (Kritamo and Ammoudi Seaside) offer customers deckchairs and umbrellas.

Although Ammoudi is a small village with few houses and hotels, there are 6 restaurants/taverns in the area, the most famous of which are Kritamo, Ammoudi Seaside (in the photo above) and Ovelix.

What to do in Ammoudi and surroundings

The village of Ammoudi, except for the beach, does not have much to offer, but within a short distance you can reach the beaches of Ampoula, Bouka, Gaidaros and Drosia for a relaxing day in the sun. For nightlife you need to travel to nearby Alykes/Alykanas (families) or Tsilivi and Zakynthos town (couples).
